John Maurice Berger (son of Andrew Jackson Berger and Mary Anna Reinmond/Raymond) was born April 25, 1858 in York, Pennsylvania³⁵, and died March 16, 1933 in Baltimore, Maryland. He married Agatha Cecelia Loane on April 02, 1888 in St. Ann's Parish, Baltimore, Maryland, daughter of John Loane and Sarah Hughes.

1900 Baltimore census shows John M. Berger, an electrician, being born in York, PA.. At some point in his life he moved to Crisfield, Somerset County, Maryland and was a volunteer fireman. He was a member and officer of the Veteran Volunteer Firefighters Association and partcipated along with his father, Andrew J. Berger and his brother, Pierre J. Berger in their activities.

Funeral from the residence of his son, Andrew J. Berger, 4100 Southern Avenue. Saturday at 8:30 A.M. Requiem Mass at St. Anthony's Church, Frankford Avenue at 9 A.M. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Harford Road.
