The International Wangler/Strittmatter/Parr/Mais Home Page is researching the four families of my ancestry. Each of these families came originally from Germany and emigrated to the U.S. in the last century.
The Wanglers and Strittmatters originated in the Baden Wurtemburg area of Germany. My immediate forebears settled in the Midwest and the small Northcentral Texas town of Pilot Point. The Parrs were from Prussia and settled on the East Coast. The Mais family came from the Moselle River area. This family settled primarily in the states of Idaho and Missouri.

I currently have about 1000 names from these four families in my database. I confess to being mostly a compiler of information at the moment. Most of the information that I have in my database has been collected by relatives who have diligently collected this information and memorabilia over the the last 20-30 years.

I would enjoy exchanging information with individuals who are descendents of any of the four families.
