| WELCOME TO MY WANDLER AND DOLL FAMILY HISTORY SITE. THE WANDLER'S AND DOLL'S WERE OF RUSSIAN-GERMAN ANCESTORY AND IMMIGRATED TO THE ODDESSA REGION OF RUSSIA DURING THE REIGN OF CATHERINE THE GREAT. MOST OF OUR RELATIVES REMAINED IN RUSSIA TO SUFFER UNDER THE COMMUNIST PARTY, HOWEVER AFEW MANAGED TO ARRIVE IN NORTH AMERICA. THIS IS WHERE MY INTEREST BEGINS, ATTEMPTING TO LOCATE INFORMATION OF MY ANCESTORS WHOM OUR FAMILIES HAVE LOST CONTACT WITH FOR DECADES; THEIR OCCUPATIONS, LINIAGE, AND ULTIMATELY THEIR DEMISE.
