Researching the Jehu Stuart line of Perry County, Alabama and Dickson County, Tennessee. Jehu lived in Dickson County, Tn. circa 1811-1815. He died in Perry Co., Alabama in 1840 leaving a will that names wife Rosanna and children Emily Carnal, Susan Hunter, Andrew Jackson Stuart, Manuel L. Stuart and minor son Thomas Stuart. Also mentions Rachel Bennett, deceased and her four children,though not by name. Would appreciate any leads and will be happy to share my findings to date. THANKS! |
