| This family history begins in America with Louis & Freda (Sherman) Brower who came in the 1890's from Russia, the village of Gisin in Kaminetz Podolia in the Empire of Russia. Louis was born c. 1846 whose parents were Joseph & Rebecca Brower. Louis died 6/24/1928. Freda was born c. 1847 whose parents were Samuel & Tuba Sherman. Freda died 3/24/1923. The children of Louis & Freda are Dora, Jacob, Julius, Bertha, and Nettie. The 1900 census showed Louis & Fannie (Freda) Brauer. As we gather more information, we will post it on this website.
