Looking for family of William S. Valentine born September 1865 in Belvidere, Warren Co., New Jersey. William was married to Helen Smith and moved from New Jersey area to El Paso, Texas and Alamogordo, New Mexico sometime during 1890s. Parents of William were James and Mahalah (Mahalia) Jackson Valentine. Looking for descendants of siblings who were Charles Jackson Valentine (b. May 18, 1852), Caleb H. Valentine (b. Dec. 3, 1853), Charlotte Louisa Valentine Harris (b. Aug. 14, 1858), James Lewis Valentine (b. July 29, 1856), Isaac Robbins Valentine (b. June 8, 1860), Henrietta Valentine Rourke (b. Oct. 22, 1862) and Sophia Valentine Hartung (b. May 10, 1868). I am in posession of some family photographs from Hartung Photography of Albion, Michican, so assume Sohpia and family at some time lived in Michigan. Would like to hear from any of descendants of William's siblings. Also would like help in possibly identifying unknown persons in photographs. |
