Notes for Terry Grant Ranf, DDS: Obituary in the KANE REPUBLICAN, May 21, 2001
Dr. Terry Ranf, DMD, 54, of 633 Greeves St., died Friday May 18, 2001 in Hamilton Township, near Kane.
He was born May 1, 1947, in Kane, son of Janelle J. Warnick Ranf Mittelman of Pennsylvania Furnace and the late Carl Virgil Ranf.
A graduate from Kane High School in 1966, where he was active in the Choraliers and the band, Dr. Ranf graduated from the University of Pittsbugh School of Dentistry in 1973. He practicec dentistry in Irwin from 1973 to 1995; and in Kane since 1995.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Kane, the Irwin Moose Club, the Kane Eagles Club and the VFW Post #1132 in Kane.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, David E. Ranf of Turtle Creek; a daughter, Erin Lynn Ranf of Indiana; his fiance, Jan Deitrick, with whom he lived; his step mother, Evelyn Ranf of James City; one step sister; and two step brothers.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his father, by his grandparents.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Dr. Terry Ranf at 1 PM on Wednesday at the First United Methodist in Kane with the Reverend Rodney Smith, pastor, officiating.
