| Hi: My name is Carol (Paton) Ward and I am originally from Toronto, Canada. I am doing research on the PATON surname. Especially my grandpa John Paton from Liverpool, England. Born June 7, 1892. I am basically trying to find out when he immigrated to Canada. I believe it was around 1910. He was in the 48th Highlanders Regiment in WW1 and served in England. He married Maude Emily Wheale in Toronto. She too was from Enfield, England. They had 7 children all born in Toronto. I know grandpa immigrated out of Liverpool but not sure in Canada (I think Toronto) where he landed. I'm looking for a year and ship. |
