I am the historian for the descendants of Captain Johann Peter Hedrick born 12/17/1733 in Oberalben, Germany and died 1/24/1798 in Rowan county North Carolina. He married Margaret Hoerchalradt on 10/28/1760 in Lancaster county Pennsylvania. They had ten children all of which lived to adulthood and married. Their children were seven sons and three daughters (Their names were Peter, George, Casper, John, Barbara Jacob, Margaret, Francis, Elizabeth, Adam). I am descended from three of these sons(George, Jacob and Adam) and have put a book together on them; it however is incomplete so I would like to get in touch with others descendants of these sons and the rest of the Captain and his father Lt. Col. Johann Peter Hedrick born 4/17/1710 in Oberalben Germany, and died in 1788 in Lancaster county Pennsylvania. Any information on these families would greatly be appreciated.
The family of Captain Johann Peter Hedrick(1733-1798)holds an annual Family Reunion on the third Sunday in August every year. This reunion is held at Hedrick' Grove Church outside of Lexington, NC. We wish to invite any and all descendants of the Captain or his father Lt. Col. Peter Hedrick or any other Hedrick relatives to attend.
