I have always believed one must understand the past in order to understand the present. To understand ourselves and others we need to know what shaped each of us...the family life, relationships, and what outside influences were taking place...a depression, a war, migration, assasination. I began researching my family history in 1984 and my husbands family history soon after. Because I was raised far from the security of grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins the understanding and bond genealogy has given me with those who came before me is a priceless treasure. The search continues. There are always mysteries to solve, distant relatives to find. I hope that this page will help more of us to find one another and that my research will help others.
