This family tree includes my extended family! They have been a big part of my life and have helped make me who I am today!
Researching my family tree has been difficult, because I never new most of my birth family.
My Grandparents: Martha and Stanley Arasim immigrated from Poland, so we don't know the original spelling of Arasim. Grandma died in 1952. Grandpa I met in 1972, at age 18, but he had reverted to speaking Polish. He passed on in 1977. As a small child I saw a few of the Aunts and Uncles, but I don't remember many of them. My father: Stanley Walter Arasim was a pilot in WWII. My Uncle John Arasim was in WWII too, where they changed the spelling from Arasim to Arasin. My father and Uncle John were mentioned,in an article in a Syracuse, NY newspaper during their inlistments.
My Grandmother Filce died when my mother was 1 year old. I never knew her name. My Grandpa: Charles Filce raised the children until my mother was 9 years old, then married "Honey". That was the name my Mother gave to my Step-Grandma. My Mother was born and raised in Newark, NJ. Moving to Syracuse, NY when she was 16. I never met Grandma Honey or Grandpa Filce, because they had moved out west. When Grandpa Filce and then Grandma Honey passed on, I believe they resided in California.
My Mother said her family immigrated from Ireland and England. Possible my Mothers Grandparents or Great-Grandparents. I would appreciate any help in tracing my family of origin.
Also the Ward family, as they are my husbands family of origin. As far as we understand, They originated from Hercomer County in NY. A Princess Lucinda Ward has also been mentioned. I was asked if we had named out daughter Lucinda after her. Daniel and Lu Lu Ward were his grandparents. Thank you for any help
