| Greetings, Welcome to my family tree website. This site will contain the lineage links of The following surnames: Ward, Heydt, Amond, and d'Invilliers. Other prominant ancestries are repreented including that of the famed Olof Stille. Many of the descendants of Olofs oldest daughter Ella can also be found on other web sites, so I am not responsible for the accuracy of Ella's line, though I do my best to make corrections when her decendants email me. My line is from his son Anders. My father's mother's ancestors, the d'Invillers', are traced back to Edne Jamart born about 1600. This also includes Armand Louis Jamart d'Invilliers and Melle Madeline Adelaide LeClerc who served on the court of Marie Antoinette and King Louis XVI. Other famous relatives include Ann Fitzsimmons Maitland, the sister of Thomas Fitzsimons, a signer of the Constitution from Philadelphia. The d'Invilliers tree will be published here soon. My mother's side, Amond, can be traced back to the early 1800s. My wife, Linda is currently working on the Heydt-Kern trees of her ancestry and will be published here soon. Much thanks and praise goes to my father James who got me interested in family history. But especially to my Uncle Edward M. d'Invilliers Ward who completed the Cronicles of the Ward-d'Invillers Families (Library of Congress CC# 97-073122)in 1998. Another great source of Swedish Ancestral History is Peter Stebbins Craig, author of many books on Swedish-Americans. I think we are related! Please email me if I can be of any help in your quest for your family history. James Pequignot Ward, Jr. |
