The Family Tree project was started by my uncle Peter Warren as a hobby during his retirement. I have attempted to continue the good work following his death. Having emigrated to South Africa presents unique challenges. Research by "remote control". The research is based around my paternal grandmother Edith Elizabeth Briggs (born 26/9/1896) who married Harry Ernest Warren (born 4/10/1888) and lived in The Maynes, Dale St, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England, where they raised thirteen children.
