The Goldsboro/Wayne Co. , N. C. - Benjamin W. Ward Home Page

I an researching the family of Benjamin W. Ward of the Seven Springs, N.C. area in Wayne Co. Benjamin was married to PietyThomas. I do not know where they were from. His mother may have been named Nancy, and his father also Benjamin. It is possible they came from Dobbs County (in the present day Little Baltimore area of Lenoir Co.) Benjamin's approx. dob is 1830 and Piety dob is 1829. Their sons were William R.,Gideon, Sidney,Hiram,Benjamin and a child named either Luky/Luby. Other family names later were James Luby, William Albert & Benjamin Kirby Ward. Some of the family still lives in the Seven Springs area and some in Goldsboro, N.C.
I am also searching the John Denmark family in the Wayne Co. area. John came from Duplin Co, N.C. and was married to a Mary Polly Hall (?) I cannot locate the connection to earlier Denmarks in the eastern part of N.C. I am sure they are related.
Lastly, George William Daughtry from Johnston Co. dob approx. 1832. Possibly from Sampson Co. He married Polly Thompson. He died during the Civil War in Virginia.
