I am trying to trace my family line back through George Elvan Ward but have had trouble getting past his parents W. S. Ward aka Sims Ward and Cindy Ward. I want to find out if this family line came from Ireland or England. Any suggestions would be appreciated. George was born either in Oklahoma or Preston Bend Texas on October 23, 1888 and died in Oklahoma on August 23, 1938. He married Clydie Jane Wheeler in Marshall County Oklahoma February 4, 1911. |
