Giacinto Celvi and Amabile Dellapicolla were my grandparents, on my Mom's side. They came over from Bedolla, Italy in 1922. Martin Wargo and Peroshka Pastor were my grandparents on my Dad's side. They came over from Budapest, Hungary in ~1915. Both sets of grandparents moved to central Pennsylvania. Both of my grandfathers worked in the coal mines and both died of black lung before I was born. They both had a hard life adapting to a new country, however they left behind a large legacy of children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, etc. I'm compiling this family tree to preserve this heritage. However, I'm only just getting started. I'd appreciate any tips or advise offered on how best to proceed. Currently I'm trying to fill in as much as possible about their ancestors. I suspect getting information on their parents (in the old country) will be considerably more difficult. Please e-mail me at jwargo@ibm.net if you've visited this web page.......Thanks, John |
