The Warrens of MichiganUpdated July 7, 2003 | |
| I am researching the family of Horace Warren. This line relocated from New York to Michigan in the early 1800s. Family lore holds a link to General Joseph Warren of Revolutionary War fame; I believe we are descendants of one of his brothers, possibly Ebenezer Warren. I am still trying to find the link though. I also have a lot of information on the Dunlaps, who merged with the Warren line upon the marriage of Ada Fidelia Dunlap to Wells C. Warren, my Great Grandfather. Not only is there information that I located that takes that Dunlap line back to the early 1700s in Ireland, but in our family scrapbooks we have many newspaper clippings about various Dunlaps in that line from the early 1900s. I would be happy to share information with anyone who could use it, and as well would love to find further information on the ancestry of Horace Homer Warren who married Miranda Clark Chamberlain in 1853. Please feel free to email me with any questions or information you'd like to share! Thank you. |
