| I am searching for information regarding the West family. My ancestors originated in Robeson County North Carolina and then migrated into Barbour County Alabama. Among my ancestors is one rather famous minister, my great great uncle, Rev. Anson West. His father was Alfred West and I am trying to locate as much information as possible about this West family. Other family members are William and Andrew. I one time the William West family lived in SC on the Little Saludy River. The earliest record of the William West family dates back to the 1700s. |
