The Noel Warde Family Home Page

I am researching the Warde Family Tree. My paternal grandfather Thomas Warde was born in Carlisle, son of John Ward (born in Cambridge 1834) and Mary Cassidy (born in Dover in 1845). He married Sarah Rankin Tierney, daughter of James Tierney (born 1837 in Emyvale, Co.Monaghan, Ireland) and Sarah Rankin (born in Glencoe, Scotland). Thomas Warde fought in the 1st World War with the Seaforth Highlanders.
I have a photograph of a bemedalled Patrick Cassidy (born in Co.Fermanagh in 1823) and his wife Elizabeth (nee Ellis).They were married in Carlisle, Cumberland. They are the parents of Mary. Patrick joined the 43rd Regiment of Foot in Enniskillen and was then posted to Carlisle. The family then spent many years in India, where Mary married John Ward in 1861 .My maternal grandfather was Joseph Marley, Kingarve, Portadown(born 3/06/1874) who married Annie Hamill (Annahue, Loughgall, Co.Armagh) on 7/02/1907 in Stonebridge, Kilmore Parish. My mother-in-law is Margaret Primrose Darroch from the Isle of Jura, Scotland and father-in-law was Frederick Brendan Owens, a native of Dublin.

I would be very grateful if you could give me information which would help me to extend my investigations.
