He was a Customs Officer
had a son - James Hargreaves Warwick born Liverpool 1836
had two daughters - Janet Warwick b. 1849 Liverpool
Daughter - Elizabeth Warwick b. 1852 Liverpool


During the 1881 census James Hargreaves can be found in Swindon, Wiltshire, England married to Isabella Warwick (formerly Machel). They had 9 boys (John, Edward, James, David,George,Thomas,William,Lenard,Ernest) and 4 girls(Forbes,Margaret,Laura,Isabella). At least three of the boys went to America and one went to South Africa.
