The name Wardley can be traced back to 1070 and the Normans-King Rollo of Normandy. Found in Invernesshire said to be related to John Biset, son of Henry Biset, Lord of Cany in Normandy who became Norman Lord of Aird at Bewley Nr Inverness. Related to Wardlaw, Wardlawe, Wardlow, Wadlow & Wadley.

COAT OF Arms: -Blue with 3 gold diamond shapes
CREST: -A gold star
FAMILY MOTTO: -Families Firm at Pietas

I am compiling the Westminster Wardleys, however, the name Wardley is dominant in East Anglia, Lancashire, Durham, London and the Midlands. Wardleys are also prominent in the USA & Australia.
