The majority of our family seems to have come from Ohio. We have members from Maryland, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Virginia, Indiana, California, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Michigan, Missouri, and Ohio. Most of my research has been done on the internet. Many census reports and some emails from researchers and some family members that I have found. I have not been able to find parents for Charles W Markins who was born in 1760 in Virginia. He and his wife, Lucinda Dechard, from Maryland, moved to Lawrence County, Ohio and the family branched off from there. Enjoy this site and please contact me if you have any helpful information or corrections. A special thanks goes out to all of the family members I have found through the internet who are helping with this information!! This truly is a group effort.
