I am researching the following family names: Christie, Hanson, Hingtgen, and Warner. The beginning of my research was done on the Warner family in Kent County, Michigan during the 1850's to 1880's. Most of the information during that time frame was concerning my Great Grandfather, Highland S. Warner, who fought in the Civil War from May, 1861 until his medical discharge in May, 1863. Highland married Mary Smith in 1864 and had surviving children named Carrie, Darius (Dan), James, John, Willard and Chauncey Warner. Highlands son John Warner married Martha Hanson in Sheyenne, North Dakota in 1903. They had two children, Chauncey and Richard Warner. Martha Hanson was a widow of Nels Hanson and they had six children together: Florence, Wilbert, Earl, Howard, Ethel and Shafter Hanson. Richard Warner married Emma Hingtgen in 1928 at Minnewaukan, North Dakota and they had five children, Priscilla, John, Richard Jr., Judy and David Warner. Emma's parents were Peter Hingtgen and Katherine Sanck. Peter was born in 1861 in Luxembourg, Germany and came to the United States at age 2 with his parents, John Hingtgen and Anna Mary Reiter. Peter married Katherine in 1887 and they had 13 children: Katherine, Edward, Mary, Anna, Nickie, Alfred, Gilbert, Albert, Mike, Helene, Emma, Peter and Roy Hingtgen. I am searching for additional information about the Hanson, Hingtgen and Warner family lines and any of their ancestors and descendants.

His daughter, Emma Hingtgen Brooks, was the Godmother to Peter's youngest daughter, Emma Hingtgen Warner.
