The Wardlaw's of Benton County Arkansas established a Wardlaw Cemetery in Brightwater Arkansas in 1859 when William M. Wardlaw Buried his Sister In-law Margaret M. Baldridge on his property where there were already a few unmarked graves. Harold Wardlaw who owned the property some time later stated in writing before he died that he believed that William's Father, Michael Wardlaw was buried in an unmarked grave there. Many Wardlaw's have since been buried there. The Wardlaw Cemetery Board of Directors meet once a year at the Cemetery to conduct business, visit, and picnic with family members. This day is also used as a work day to maintain the Cemetery. Every year the Saturday before Memorial Day at noon this meeting is Held at the Wardlaw Cemetery located up on the hill next to 13660 Sugar Creek Road, Brightwater, Arkansas. Below you can find information on almost 2,100 of my ancestors. Both direct and by marriage. You can also see my wife and children. This information is in no particular order, so look around.
