Notes for DAVID GEORGE WASHINGTON:
George was a foreman at R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and also worked for the railroad in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
George was killed by either a trolley car or train in the winter of 1906 or 1907. Not only do we not know his actual date of death, location or burial site, we also don't know his date of birth.
His name was found in a Winston-Salem directory.
Notes for VICTORIA M. FAW (REEVES):
Victoria's last name was Faw, which was her mother's maiden name. We are not sure of Victoria's biological father.
Her mother, Nancy Caroline Faw, married Samuel J. Reeves on December 27, 1889, when Victoria was 14 years old. Therefore Victoria is the step-daughter of Samuel Reeves.
Victoria worked at O'Hanlon Drug Company and R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company in Winston-Salem, NC.
Other interesting information:
Clarence would have known his uncles as Reeves, so that would explain why he wrote Victoria Reeves on his Social Security application. Actually if he hadn't put the name Reeves down we never would have found Victoria Faw.
Victoria had a brother named David that was killed in a hunting accident when he was 15 years old.
A piece of paper found in Victoria's bible reads:
Feb. the 6 1898 - David Washington
Esther Washington as born the 1 day of April 1890
George Washington and Victoria M. Faw was married April the 16, 1895 in the year of our lord
Any information regarding Esther, David and George would be beneficial.
