It is reported that there is a photo of Peter VB with "clip on glasses on his nose", written on the back "September 1900, To Fernando Q. Loutzenhiser from your father." I believe this to be the same photo, found in my Grandmothers belongings, Mary Electa Loutzenheiser, daughter of Peter VB, sister of Fernando Q. However, the glasses in this photo are not clip on. I was told he knew the photographer and was "kidding around" for him. - Provided by Alice Marie (Milford) Chapman (MaryElecta/PeterVanBuren/PeterV./JohnJacob/JohannePeter"Elder"/HeinrichDavid/Conrad)

- Conrad Kreuzer / son of Georg "George" Kreuzer (74 KB)
Conrad Kreuzer, Father of Anna Maria, Elizabeth, Katharina/ Sarah and John Benjamin
- Conrad Kreuzer's Business Card (304 KB)
Conrad was a Carpenter, as was his son John Benjamin, Sr and his sons, John Benjamin, Jr., Clarence, and Paul. In their teenage years, John Jr., Clarence and Paul worked with their father and grandfather building over 300 houses in the Canton, Stark Co., Ohio area. I have their business records, which include the addresses and cost of building many of the homes. They also built a house for John Sr., John Jr, and one for Clarence in the northwest side of Canton. John, Jr. didn't work at the trade after he was released from the Army as he was never well after that. He never married and eventually died of Parkinson's desease. Clarence and Paul both spent their entire adult lives working for the Timken Roller Bearing Company in Canton, Ohio. Three of Clarence's sons also worked at the Timken Co., and at least two of his grandsons worked there for a short time.
