He married (1) FRANCES POWELL. She was born 1827 in Kentucky, and died April 10, 1853. He married (2) ELIZA TOBEN PILE July 17, 1855, daughter of MORRIS PILE and SALLY ?. She was born December 08, 1835 in Illinois, and died Aft. 1887 in unknown.

Buried at No. 6 Cemetery. 1880 Census Henry married to Eliza with three children at home. Henry's birthplace is listed as MO and His Father's birthplace is N.C. No birthplace listed for his mother.

1850 Census: Eliza still at home, 15 yrs old. Shows birthplace as KY. 1880 Census: Eliza wife of Henry 45yrs old. Shows her birth place as Illinois, her father: Kentucky, her mother: Kentucky. Henry's obit. says that she is still alive at the time of his death in 1887.
