One source says birth date is in October instead of November. Buried at Lebanon Cemetery Adams Twp., Guernsey County, Ohio. Listed as a farmer in 1850 census. Madison Twp. in 1860 a Rose Cunningham age 74 was living with them. In 1880, granddaughters, Laura B. age 12 and Mattie age 9, were living with them. In 1900, living with them, was Samuel Ford a grandson, age 25.

Robert and Euphemia were married by W. M. Smith of Millers Run Presby. Church, located one miles south of the village of Venice, PA. No census record of Robert for 1870. After 1862, no longer showed up in the tax records. He and his wife probably separated/divorced. Robert living with the son of his #1 marriage and Euphemia living with her brother, Henry Hastings. Robert is buried in Washington Cemetery, Washington, PA.

She is buried in Melrose Cemetery, Lot 51, Sec 1, Bridgeville, PA. 1870 and 1880 census, shows her living with her brother John Hastings, Bridgeville, Alleghany County, PA.. Her sons James,18, and Thomas 10, are reported in 1870 as living with Charles McConnel, for whom they were working.
