NOTE: REPORTS UPDATED ON MARCH 3 2001-

Welcome to my gift to my immediate & extended family. I hope my work, along with the contributions of many related family, will bring a better understanding of our heritage. My mother's family is truly Old Southern lineage. They settled early in the Carolina territories & led the migration westward to GA, TN & Texas. My father's family settled on the shores of the Great Lakes, first in Ontario, Canada, then MI & NY.
Maternal:
CROSSLAND / CROSSLIN of TN - TX , CLEMENTS / CLEMENT of ENG. - SC - GA - TX , ELLIOT / ELLIOTT OF GA - TN - TX / LUCAS OF SC - GA - TX / HOGG of NC - SC - GA - TX from 1600-2000

Paternal:
WATSON OF MI - NS & ONT CANADA / DECLUTE of FR - NY - MI - ONT CANADA & other possible names of Beauchamp / Henning / Raymond from 1700-2000.

This site contains several thousand names, but be forewarned in making assumptions. While many entries are sourced in my files, there are critical links that have yet to be documented.

Currently, I am seeking extra help in my search for my paternal Watson & Declute lines. Also, I & other Clements relations are searching for confirming facts on one Mathew Clements of GA , b. 1790 - d.1864 & also leads on his ancestors. What you will see here is a work in progress.

Please feel free to contact me. I maintain files of other associated researchers and welcome the two-way exchange of information. Meeting relations and helping others make connections is an enjoyable benefit of this work. Good luck.
