| The information presented here is accurate to the best of my knoweledge, based on the coordination of many family members. Thankfully, there have been many diligent researchers in the family which gave me a tremendous head start on connecting their efforts. Elusive ancestors: Evan Thomas WATSON b. 1759 d. 1834. Born in Albemarle VA, and likely the son of John WATSON m. Margaret UNKNOWN. Likely siblings were John WATSON of Hightop, Joseph WATSON and Jesse WATSON. Other possible siblings could be James, Joab, Mathew, David, Isaac and William. Information on Evan's parents and brothers is not yet proven, and therefore do not appear in the report below. I welcome any information on this family. Ezekiel CLIFTON, b. 1760-1770 in NC or VA d. abt 1843. Looking for his parents and his marriage to Nancy NUNNERLY/NUNNALLY. He is likely the son of a Thomas CLIFTON and sibling to Thomas Nathan CLIFTON and Winna CLIFTON Williams. Nathaniel CLIFTON b. abt 1808 d. 1882. Probable son of Ezekiel, above, married 3 times. Looking for marriage to first two wives: first wife Susan, and second wife Mary/Polly W., surnames unknown. Mary's surname may be WEAVER or WISE. Henery TURNER, moved from Boston MA to Townsend, Birkshire Co., MA in 1769. He was married to Abigail SCOTT. Looking for his parents, and his death location. Stephen FIELDS, Sr. likely born in NC, married to Sarah SHORT who's ancestry runs back to the third century A.D.! Seeking his ancestors. |
