Find Family
Son of James and Nancy Seagar Sparkman, William Sparkman from North Carolina came to Davidson County, Tennessee around 1796 then moved his family to Leiper's Fork around 1806 in Williamson County. About 1807 his brother Jesse Sparkman and their sister Sarah Ann Sparkman Godwin wife of George Godwin came to this primitave community.
Along with Kendall Sparkman and Sue Eagle and others we are researching this Sparkman family.
Corrections and comments are welcome.
Jesse Sparkman is my direct line. William Sparkman is Kendall's direct line. In the report the Sparkman,s of Leiper's Fork there are 14 generations and over 9600 Individuals listed As of April 2008. The average age for a member of this family is 63 years 6 months and 10 days. This will only keep going up as when the early Sparkman's arrived at Leaper's Fork life was hard and most died young. As of now Kendall Sparkman and myself have found over 8000 decendants of James Sparkman. In the listing there are over 11870 different surenames and 14 generations.
I am now rewritting the Book on this family in 3 Volums covering all three children of James that came to Leiper's Fork. The Book itself is over 1300 pages.I have found a pulibisher you will be able to buy the book direct from to save you money if you want one. The Book hopefully will be out by December 2008.
