My father's family: I am reseaching the WATKINS family which, thus far, has taken me back to Watkin Watkins from Maldwyn, Lwyn - Y Grant Road, Cardiff, Wales who,in 1410, went to England and received a land grant, "Shotten" from King Henry IV. I am also researching the HAYS family which, thus far, only goes back 2 generations to my grandmother Emma Blanche Hays, born 11 Dec 1894 in Chelsea, Massachusettes, USA.
On my mother's family: I am researching the KIRKPATRICK family which presently goes back to James Allen Carew Kirkpatrick, born 10 May 1940 in Baltimore, (Indep. City), Maryland, USA. I am also researching the HART family which, at this time, goes back to my great-great grandfather, Lewis Cap Hart, who was born in Ireland, ca. 1863-1867.
