After my grandfather, Elberton Monroe Brewer died in 1991, I took the information I'd copied from his family bible, and began trying to organize it into a family history. He didn't have it all in order as far as family names and years. He had generations, such as parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, etc. as well as some names of uncles, aunts, great-uncles, etc. The following information was gathered on hurried visits to the Wolfe County Library, and is incomplete, as I didn't know then to list the household number, enumerator's name, or the transcriber's name, though I did write down the notes they'd made. Hopefully someone, somewhere, will find a sliver of information to encourage them in their hunt for their own family history.
