  Green Kelly Brewer, on the left, born 1876, died 1942; and Henry Clay Brewer, on the right, born March 27, 1878, died December 17, 1944. Sons of George W. and Caroline King Brewer, both were born in Breathitt County, Kentucky.
• Moses Spencer Family (352 KB)
  Given to me by a fellow family history hunter, this is the family of Moses Spencer. Moses is the man in the center of the photo in the front row of people. Other than the fact that one of the ladies is his wife, Elizabeth Deaton, the only thing else I know about this photo is the rest of the people in it are his children.

  Taken at Laona, Wisconsin in 1928. Josephine born May 23, 1925 at Rogers, Wolfe County Kentucky, and Wallace born February 7, 1928 at Laona Wisconmsin, children of Elberton Monroe and Orlena Jane King Brewer.

  Starting on left is Jake Brewer, Ruth Ellen Spencer (wife of Dennis Brewer), another Spencer lady, Oliver Brewer and Hulda Caroline (Miller)Brewer, George Washington Brewer and Caroline King Brewer, Henry Clay Brewer and Margaret Ellen Spencer Brewer holding Mina, Henry Clay Spencer in the rear, 2 other Spencer ladies, Minnie Spencer Brewer and baby Dillard with Kelly Brewer. All Spencers are either sisters or cousins.

  Taken late 1800's, The children of Frank and Louisa, except for Noah and James, all are here. 1st Row: Elizabeth "Lizzie" Spencer Whisman, Louise Eliza Spencer Chapman, Lillie Spencer Bryant, Millie Ann Spencer Bryant, and Virginia Spencer Townsend. 2nd Row: Franklin Doctor "Dock" Spencer, Marion Benton Spencer, William "Will" Spencer, Jefferson Davis "Jeff" Spencer, and George Washington. 3rd Row: Boyd Cudah "Cud" Spencer, Hugh Allen Spencer, and Granville Henderson Spencer.   Obtained from Mary Jane Spencer Adams' daughter Reva, this is only half of the school children of that year, the other half had her mother in it so she kept that one. In this picture front row, 2nd child from right is believed to be Etta Brewer Watkins (wife of James Monroe "Roe" Watkins). 2nd child from left front row is Elberton Monroe "Bert" Brewer, next to him 3rd from left is George Gobel Spencer. 3rd row right side is standing Simeon Spencer, 2nd over from him is Laura Spencer Creech(wife of Boyd Creech).   Taken about 1920-21 Margaret Ellen Spencer d/o Granville Henderson Spencer, wife of Henry Clay Brewer holds James Verl Brewer who married Sylvia Sparks. Standing next to her is Grace Brewer who married Alvah E. Creech.
