The Waddelow Society Home Page
Welcome to the Waddelow Society's Official Home Page. The Society was founded in 1989 by the decendants of THOMAS WADDELOW, d 1608, a farmer from Littleport in the Isle of Ely, England. Some of his decendants were caught up in the riot of Littleport in the early nineteenth century. We are interested in ALL occurences of the names WADDELOW and WADLOW, including variations of these names. We have many members who have entensively researched the name both in the UK and the USA.We would love to here from anyone who shares the same name interest. We have information on several Waddelow and Wadlow family trees as well as our own.May be you hold the vital clue which can prove a link between our two families. We have an annual family gathering every Easter Monday in the village of Little Downham, the home of many of our ancestors. All members and their families are most welcome to attend. Why not come and meet the family next Easter Monday in Little Downham, England. We have published our family tree in book form as well as several other books for sale. Anyone who subscribes to the Society will receive two magazines a year. Please come and join us, you don't need to be a direct decendant of Thomas to be a member. | The Waddelow Society Home Page Updated September 5, 2000 |
