      93. Frederick7 Watson (Isham6, Samuel5, James4, James3, William2, James1) was born 1784 in Wayne Co. NC, and died 1854 in Lowndes Co. GA. He married (1) Martha Frederick Abt. 1805. She was born Abt. 1784, and died WFT Est. 1811-1878 in Houston Co. GA. He married (2) Jane Hagen 22 Jul 1834 in Houston Co. GA. She was born 1809 in Houston Co. GA, and died 21 Nov 1881 in Texas.

Per the 'Pioneers of the Wiregrass' Volume 6,page #280:
"Watson, Frederick 1784-1854
Frederick watson was born in Wayne County,NC in 1784, a son of Isham (also spelled Isom)Watson, Revolutionary Soldier. He came with is parents to Georgia when about grown. He was married twice but the name of his first wife is unkown. Three known sons were born by her,viz:
1. William J. b. 1824 m. Susan wilson, daughter of Orizba.
2. Jimmerson b.1826 m. Matilda Hall, dau. of Jacob, aug 3,1848 (Irwin County,GA)
3. Fredrick,Jr b.1827 m. Ellen Bethany Hall, dau. of Jacob, July 29,1947.
The second marriage took place in Houston County July 22,1834, when he married Jincy , in some places given as Jane, Hagan, born 1809 in Georgia.they had the following children:
4.Dicy Ann Emily b.1836, m. Simeon A.Griffin
5.Martah G. b.1838, m.unknown
6.Julia Ann C. b.1848, m.james C.Carroll, Mar 29,1864.
Fredrick Watson is found living in Irwin County in the 1820 Census, after his first death wife's death in Irwin County he moved into Houston County where he married again, then moved to Dooly County and lived there ten or twelve years. In 1851 he moved to Lowndes County and bought a farm , being the west half of lot 262, 12th district, in that part of Lowndes made in 1858 into Brooks County. he died ther in 1854, His widow married Henry Morgan in Brooks County, Oct 18,1860. frederick watson died testate, leaving a will naming his wife Jincy as executrix; the will was probated in Lowndes County (record in that county burned). The inventory of the estate was made janusry 12,1855. Following the creation of Brooks, the administration of the estate was moved to that county."

She was buried at Wesley Chappel cemetery. Later. when Gilbert died, Persimmon creek had risen so high they could not get his body to inter beside her. They then began a cemetry at Union Church. where the Watson's later had many family get togethers. In 1995 the Union cemetery reunion committee moved Nancy's remains to be beside Gilberts

In the name of God, Amen!
I Green B. Watson, of said State and County being of advanced age and knowing that I must shortly die, do make this my last will and testament hereby revoking all others heretofore made by me.

Item 1st I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent and Christian like manner suitable to my
circumstances and condition in life, my soul, I trust shall return to rest with God.

Item 2d I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Maria Watson, all my property and affects, both real and personal so long as she remains a widow to use or dispose of as she may see fit and prosper with the advice of my Executors hereinafter to be named.

Item3d In the event my beloved wife Maria should either marry or die, it is my will that my Executors,
towit; Cade Jones and W.D. Smith shall take charge of my Estate and keep the whole of my property together until my youngest child shall become of age or marry then the same to be equally divided among my children share and share alike.

Item 4t I hereby constitute and appoint my beloved wife, Maria Watson and my worthy friends Cade Jones and W.D. Smith Executors of this my last Will and Testament this 1876.

Signed sealed declared and published by Green B. Watson as his last Will and Testament in the presence of the subscribers who subscribed and names hereto in the presence of the Testator at his special instance and request, and of each other.

At this term of the Court a paper purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Green B. Watson of said County, decd. was offered for probate in common form of law, and it appearing upon the testimony of John Perkins one of the subscribing witnesses thereto that said Green B. Watson dec'd. sign, seal, publish and declare the same to be same to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of said witness and the other witnesses towit; B.S. Johnson, G. W. Wall and N.C. Wall; and that said witness together with the other witnesses did sign the same in the presence of said Green B. Watson and of each other at the request of said dec'd and that said dec'd was of sound and disposing mind and memory at the time of the execution thereof; and that said paper was signed in the summer of 1876.
And it further appearing upon the testimony of Mary A. Smith that said dec'd did sign in her presence and in the presence of Harriett Singleton the Codicil and Certificate to said Will.
Wherefore it is ordered that said paper be declared to be the last Will and Testament of said Green B. Watson, dec'd.
