A large amount of research has been completed by many genealogists on families who are of, or only one or two generations removed from, these surnames:
Bradley, Corner, Coussens (Cousens),Chamberlain (Chamberlin),
Doldon (Dolden),Hampton (Hampten), Muschamp (+ other variations before the 1600s), Porter, Ramsden, Vincent, Waymark Weymark Wymark Whymark Wymark(+ other variations < 1600)

The genesis of these names for modern times is the United Kingdom; the heritage is Normandy, Anglo-Saxon and Viking.

The name Waymark (and variations) and Doldon are very uncommon names. To be able to register all living members of those two family groups would not be difficult and in fact for the Waymark line we are not far off (but still away to go on the variations). The Muschamp family name has two significant groupings in Europe/UK and the other in North/Central America. The connections between the two have not yet been firmly established. Although more common than Waymark or Doldon they also are very small in genealogical terms.

The intent of this page is to bring together as much research as possible and to be a repository where people feel confident in depositing data that it is available only: in a forum which invades no one's privacy; on a web site built on integrity; where the most reliable accuracy is strived for.

The posting of family trees will list our ancestors and those living today. The latter will be described with only the country of origin and/or residence today. We will not publish 'tombstone data' (birth, address etc.)for current families. This was done in the past and on reflection the decision has been made to limit the sharing of data only to specific researchers on those from whom permission has been directly received.

A OneList has been set up for researchers on Waymark and Muschamp family names. These researchers exchange regular e-mail on their findings. If you wish to become a member you must contact the moderators of the communities and request permission to join stating your relationship to, or interest in, the family grouping. The moderator contacts are:
