Researching: Bond, Bramblett, Brownlee, Byars, Carmichael, Carr, Clark, Dooly, Etheredge, Goree, Hoard, Hogg, Jarrett, Lee, Lindsey, Macklin/McLin, Norris, Rafferty, Rowe, Smith, Thaxton, Thomas, Thompson, Weaver, Wilson, Wise
The families mostly migrated from Virginia to Georgia. Most of the families were in Georgia at least by 1830 and nearly all were in Butts County, Georgia at some time.

    Caswell Etheredge was born 10 May 1799 in North Carolina, and died 28 April 1861 in Butts County, Georgia. He married Dianna M. Bond in February of 1829 in Butts County. Dianna was the daughter of Edward Bond and Susannah Dooly. Caswell and Dianna are buried in the Etheredge Family cemetery in Butts County, Georgia.
  • Oscar Little Weaver & Alberta Arlene Thaxton (26 KB)
    Oscar Little Weaver was born 20 September 1873 in Butts County, Georgia and died 8 October 1944 in Butts County. Alberta Arlene Thaxton was born 5 February 1880 in Butts County and died 29 November 1968 in Butts County. They were were married 26 November 1898 in Butts County. They are buried in Fellowship Presbyterian Church cemetery in western Butts County.
