David and this family must have migrated from Georgia sometime after the 1850 Census of Crawfort Georgia and before 1853 in Alabams. His mother Elizabeth shown living with him in 1850 Census Crawfort Georgia is no longer shown on the 1860 Census. He is shown living in the same community as his brother Alsalom James .
