Owner Cathy Stover: James Alexander Lindsey McColluch and wife Mary Louann Dyer McColloch. He was born April 6, 1821, in Blount County, Tennessee, the youngest child of Samuel McColloch, Sr. and Margaret Porter McColloch. It is a puzzle why he was given so many names. Mary Louanna Dyer McColloch was born Feb. 19, 1813, In North Carolina, the daughter of Caleb Dyer and Rebecca Howard Dyer. James and Mary were married in Cane Hill Township, Arkansas in October 1841. He is the Great-Grandfather of Lacy Porter McColloch.
