Rodolphus Dewey (son of Joseph Dewey and Abigail)² was born Oct 1792 in Worthington, Hampshire, Massachusetts, and died 31 Jul 1859 in Conneaut, Crawford, Pennslyvania. He married Sarah "Sally" Platt, daughter of Ebenezer Platt and Abigail Trubee.

Have Baptismal Record from Worthington, Hampshire County, Massachusetts. Have cemetery record from Penn Line cemetery. It says he was 66 years at his death. Have record in Mortality Schedule, Rodolphus committed suicide by hanging himself in his barn. Have 1850 census record, Conneautville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania. Rodolphus owned quite a lot of property in Crawford County--have copies of deeds, tombstone says he was an 1812 veteran.
