Samuel Webb Family Home Page

The Webbs of this family first show up in Stamford,CT abt 1650 according to family legend having come from Wales although most
records indicate that Richard Webb of Stamford came from Dorset,
England.Some of his descendants,Samuel,Jonathan and David moved
to Goshen, Orange Co.,New York abt 1725.My gg grandfather William
Webb moved from Orange Co to Sugar Hill,Schuyler Co.,NY after the
War of 1812. I am researching all surnames connected to this line
and am willing to share any information.
