am researching the McGuire-McGee/Magee branches of my family. My Great-Grandfather Francis and his wife Mary (Logan?)Campbell were the Emigrant Irish ancestors of unknown County (Mayo?) origins, circa 1866 or before, marrying in 1866 in Germantown, Philadelphia, PA. They had four children, born and buried in Philadelphia: Margaret, John, William Joseph (my grandfather) and Mary Ann. The daughters apparently never married. I am seeking ancestors to the old country. It is possible that Mary Campbell was actually from Scotland, or her father possibly was. William had 10 children by his wife Ella. My father, the third son was Thomas John Magee. He married Margaret McGuire, daughter of James Barnabas and Ellen "Blanche"Van Slyke of Illinois in 1945. The Tom Magees then reared their family of five in Portland, Oregon during the 50s-60s. I am seeking to tie the loose ends of my origins together, & unify the East-Midwest-West and Ireland threads for the posterity of my children and grandchildren as well as for siblings and cousins as yet unmet. Any help or "connection"appreciated and I will share what information I have. Ellen Weeks
