The R. Brian Weeks Family Home Page

I am researching the Weeks (Weeaks) family which lived in the Llano/Coryell/McLennan County, TX area from at least the early 1850s to around 1980.
My records indicate that William M. Weeks (b. 4/4/1829 someplace, d. 1892 in Llano Co., TX) moved to TX from IL in 1851. He married Mary Ann Hines and they had four children: George W. (1866-1919), Cansada (1864-unk.), Calvin (1866-unk.), and Christopher Columbus (1869-1940). Christopher Columbus "Lum" Weeks was my great-grandfather.

Christopher Columbus Weeks married M. Ella Swift (1865-1946) on 12/21/1892 in TX. They had at least three children: William E. (1894-1970), Columbus M. (1898-unk.), and George Ollie Weeks (1896-1969). George Ollie was my grandfather.

George Ollie Weeks married Nora Lee Swift (1898-1979) on a date unknown. They had at least four children: J.C., James Weldon, Ollie Ray, and Bob Olin. Bob Olin was my father.

I have seen numerous Birth, Death, Census, and Tax records for various William Weeks' in IL, IN, NC, TN, MO, MS, AL, and TX. I would appreciate any help in tracing William M. Weeks before he came to TX, as well as any information on relatives.
