I am researching Wiley Weeks, born 1798 in Georgia and married to Delila (Scott) Gordon born 1796. Wiley and Delila had ten children and I have much of the information about them including most of their spouses, and their children.
I have unsubstantiated information that Wiley's parents were James A. Weeks, Sr (born in Virginia) and Frances Goff. Also that Wiley, had two brothers: John and William. I am currently trying to establish these relations as a fact.

There is a strong possibility that this information is correct since my relatives have always spoken of a "Rippin Jim" Weeks who was part Indian; Choctaw or Cherokee and could be this same James A. Weeks. To my knowledge, this too has not been firmly established.
