The Wegner/Zenke/Romig family (one of Andy's branches) came from Kreis (County) Schivelbein (Schlönwitz/Panzerin) in Pomerania to Jefferson County Wisconsin 1867-69.
The Zarnoth/Prey family (this & the next 4 paragraphs are Mary's branches) came from just to the west in Kreis Regenwalde (Witzmitz/Neuenhagen/Gardin), Pomerania about 1882 to Calumet County Wisconsin.
Haensgen/Mauer's were from Kreis Daun (many villages east of Kelberg) in the Eifel Mountain region of Germany's Rheinland/Pfalz, and came to Fond du Lac County Wisconsin in 1846.
The Gehrmann/Krechovek's were from West Prussia (near Graudenz) and came in early 1880's to LaCrosse & Appleton Wisconsin.
The Mollon/Marshall's were from County Cornwall (near Poundstock) England and came to Oshkosh Wisconsin in 1881.
The Lockery/Gardner's were from County Clare (Lisdoonvarna/Gort) Ireland. Lockery came to Maine in 1850, married Gardner there in 1856, and had first child in 1859, in Oshkosh.
The Riess/Rausch/Jahn/Meichner families (this and the rest are Andy's branches) were from Kreis Wunsiedel (Grafenreuth, etc)Bavaria and came to Jefferson County Wisconsin in the 1840's.
The Sommerfeldt/Fenske/Kroll's were from Kolmar area of Posen.
The Eiting/Vos/Döink's were from Kreis Borken, (near Bocholt) Westphalia and just across the border in Gelderland Holland (near Lichtenvoorde), and came to Boston then to Brown County (Hollandtown), Wisconsin in 1840's.
The Micke/Ardes's were from near Lüdinghausen Westphalia, and the Welter/Van Melis/Kellerman/Butzen's were from Straelen and near Kempen, North Rhine. They also came to Brown and Outagamie counties Wisconsin.
