| This page is primarily devoted to the ancestors and descendants of David Nelson Lewis and Margaret Alvina Young. We have lost several family members in the past few years. Rita Gorham Treacy, Charles Arthur Conley III, and Stella Conley Avery are some. How many of you know about Hugh McClellan, our Revolutionary War patriot ancestor? He is registered with the DAR, but has a different line than the one that was explained to me by Mel Franklin of Geo Washington HQ in Newburgh. The line at the DAR says our supposed ancestress died in infancy. I'm still digging. Well, the newest info is that Hugh most likely did not marry Hannah John and Frances daughter, but possibly another Hannah Moore. Their daughter Hannah lived to be 85 and never married according to Stephn Moore who has well documented evidence on his side. |
