John resided in Farmington, and was annually appointed to offices of honour and trust in ther town. He was a street and land surveyor and was one of the committee appointed by the proprietors to treat with Sachem Marsakepe, and to obtain his signature to a deed conveying to them the tract of land named Farmington. He joined the church Bov 24 1686; his wife Jan 3, 1687.
