1. SUSAN EMELINE2 EDWARDS (LUCIEN WILLIS1) was born August 16, 1858 in Georgia, and died January 03, 1942 in Marlow, Oklahoma. She married THOMAS HENDERSON GODBEHERE October 26, 1876 in Gibtown, Texas, son of RICHARD GODBEHERE and MARTHA ROSE. He was born July 02, 1852, and died January 02, 1931 in Marlow Stephens County, Oklahoma.

Obit for Susan Emerline: "Mrs Susan Emerline Godbehere, resident of Marlow for 46 years died Saturday Morning, January 3 at her home on West Fifth, Where she lived with her daughter Mrs. Vina Taylor. Mrs Godbehere had suffered a stroke a few days prior to her death. Mrs. Godbehere was born in Georgia Aug. 16, 1858. She was 84 years, 4 Months and 18 days old at the time of her death. She was married at Gibbstown, Texas Oct. 26, 1876 to T. H. Godbehere who died in Marlow in 1931. She and Mr. Godbehere moved to Marlow in 1896 and have made this their home since that time. Surviving Mrs. Godbehere are five daughters and three sons. the daughters are Mrs. Maggie Castleberry of San Francisco, Calif., Mrs. Annie Taylor of Pixley, Calif, Mrs Ellie Welliver of Seminole, Mrs. Nancy Dorsey of Ada and Mrs. Taylor of Marlow. The sons are Jim Godbehere of Apache, George of Marlow and Richard of Rush Springs. All of the children except the daughters in California were here for the funeral services. Services were held at the Fifth Street Baptist Church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by S. C. Blackburn and the pastor, F.N. Morrison. Pall bearers were Herbert Ward, Henry Sehested, Wesley Ensley, Carl Burch, Judd Hill and Leonard Vandiver. Burial was in the Marlow cemetery. The Steele
Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements."
