The Gallie & Charlie Loving Johns Family of Bear Mountain Va

I am the grand daughter of Gallie & Charlie Loving Johns. My mother, Mary Josephine, is the youngest of thirteen. I am attempting to gather all of that information that was held back in past generations and pass my Native American heritage onto my children and grand children.

Gallie and Charlie were born in Amherst Co, Virginia and lived among the Monacan Indian Nation, such as it was and as allowable. Circumstances existed in those times that prevented our ancestors from truly enjoying their heritage. It was in those turbulent times that my grandparents chose to move their family north to Maryland.

My goal, with the help of my fellow Johns Family members, is to provide a lineage of pride and determination to pass to future generations.

NOTE: Please be patient as I navigate through the intertwined families on the list of names. Many are from other family trees I am working or assiting with research on and will be eliminated as soon as I get around to it. I hope to upload photos and other documentation in the very near future.
